I'm guessing this is either because the MoD housing is not suitable to live in (anyone remember those news reports showing the [LIFTED] conditions Forces families were living in?) or because there isn't any MoD accommodation available where personnel are based.

Either way, they need to sort something out for the long run - millions a month is just ridiculous...
