I assume Karzai's response was 'why the f!ck should I care what you think, you'll be out of a job on a few months'. The idea that Gordon Brown has any weight to throw round internationally is laughable. Everyone he talks to knows they really should be dealing with the next guy, they're just waiting for him to bugger off.
