Just seems a faff to get the phone from orange to unlock it to put a Tesco mobile sim card in it if I understand what you are doing.

Na I've already got the phone - I'm 17 months through an 18 month contract with o2.

When my contract ends, I'll get o2 to unlock it and then I can go to Tesco.

That makes more sense ;)

You can always unlock it using sn0w or similar software :)
