ITV is struggling to cope with increased competition from digital channels, as well as a big decrease in advertising during the recession.

Have they considered programmes that aren't lowest common denominator stuff and putting films on at a decent time?

I dunno when I last watched ITV for a full half hour

Having seen some schedules for ITV the only things I would watch would be films. But late showings and split showings for the news mean I CBA.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
