Thoughts?

It's pleasantly amazing how quickly game prices drop these days :)

Hmm, I'm in two minds about this.

Sure, I want cheaper games. I want cheaper everything!!

But I fear that it sounds like they might be thinking of basically making us pay for a demo??? Then paying for more content through XBL/PSN/etc? I don't want to pay for something twice.

I don't think I'm keen on that tbh, games are pretty cheap anyway. I always think £40 is a good price, so long as the game is good. It's one of the cheapest forms of entertainment - I paid £40 for CoD and my console tells me I've played it for 50 hours. Pretty good value I reckon.

As you say, games drop in price quite quickly. Leave it a couple of months and get the whole thing for £20 if you think games are too pricey.

The whole 'paying more in the long run' is what I'm concerned about too :?

And I agree on the waiting for a few months aspect, even with the big hits usually (for the most part, something like MW2 being the exception with sellers).
