Critics allege the advert, which has attracted thousands of comments online, perpetuates a racial stereotype that African Americans eat fried chicken.

Imagine that

The real outrage is that you still get Pepsi Max with your order

It would only be stereotyping if they were shown eating water melon too. As KFC doesn’t seem to like the idea of fresh fruit and veg, this is highly unlikely.

I think all people should be banned from being shown on TV. That way no one is being discriminated against and no one can be accused of being racist.

It will solve EVERYTHING!

Given it's an Australian ad campaign - and given I'm in Australia at the moment and have heard some real choice soundbites of vile verbal filth - I am inclined to agree that the chances of it being racially motivated are very very high.

That said, just because it might be racially motivated, doesn't mean you can't tell the joke. Just don't expect everyone to find it funny.

If people are offended they should just vote with their feet/stomachs. End of.

Well not exactly, KFC would probably try to apologise by offering a 50% discount to all black people - which'll then start a "that's not fair" race war/protest from idiots of another-coloure and before too long we'll have bedlam.

They do!......... But so do white Americans, Hispanic Americans, native Americans etc. They all eat it.

I wonder if it's because they give a staff discount on the fried chicken...?
