Great grandmother Annette Edwards, 57, has spent £10,000 to make her look like cartoon character Jessica Rabbit. Has it been money well spent? No.

This woman thinks shes Jessica Rabbit
She says she has always loved rabbits and wanted to look like her idol, Jessica Rabbit, from the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
She said: “I got my first rabbit when I was eight and it became my best friend. I would play with it for hours, we were inseparable.
"Growing up I’d always been fascinated with the cartoon character Jessica Rabbit. I thought she was stunning and for years I longed to look like my idol.
"I sometimes get stopped in the street and have had loads of nice compliments.”
She said she had been contacted by Playboy about the possibility of a photo shoot.

Ok, I think I can understand why Playboy has finance issues if they're approaching women like her for their spreads... it's not as if there's a shortage of genuinely attractive women who'll de-robe for cash out there.

I think the real story is that she's a Great Grandmother at 57.

jonbwfc I was behind her in a queue today - but I wouldn't describe it as 'bushy'.

I saw a pic of her a few weeks back (do a google image search for "jessica rabbit edwards" without the quotes). Frankly she looks ridiculous but it's her money and she can spend it on what she wants.

If the great grand child is only a couple of months old then an average age of 19 at first birth for the maternal line is well within the realms of decency. Although something tells me it wouldn't actually be that way.

Jeysus, that's a scary photograph. She looks like a drag queen.

And that's exactly why I didn't post a pic or a link. It's too scary.

My grandma is 59, and she is a great grandma.

Is it really a story?

Agreed.

200 years ago that would have been about standard.

200 years ago, surviving to 59 would've been exceptional. Great-grandmothers would have been a scarce commodity, I'd imagine.

Actually that's a misconception, the average age for marriage in the 1600 (yes thats 400 not 200 years ago but I know the figures for the 16c) was 29.

Tbh with you my reaction was uninformed, if they were all 19 who am I to judge....so long as they are financially stable and not living of the state with no intention of self improvement and no physical/mental reason not to be in work.
