If only they'd do an electric 4x4 panda, perfect for the coming ice age.

Panda 4x4s are (along with the classic Land Rover) the only 4x4s that don't give the driver the same level of stigma as a paedophile or an apple user ha ha aha ha ha ah ha ha ah I'm just jealous and very very tired.

It’s true - we need better looking electric cars. Oh - and ones which have a decent range and a reasonable charging time. And the infrastructure to support them.

I agree it's going to take "normal" cars powered by electricity to convince most people before oil runs out.

I was in London last week, and noticed an awful Gee Whiz plugged into a juice point in Covent Garden. Two charging related issues sprang out at me, firstly the cable was trailing (albeit a short distance) between the car and juice point, and secondly the amount of time it must take to charge one as it was plugged in for a long time, wireless (conduction?) charging/parking spots would seem to be a good idea.
