Strange, I'm usually intolerant of the Catholic church, but there are one or two good points he makes.
In it's drive for so called equality the government does seem to be trying to remove free will and in some cases, cut peoples noses off to spite their face.
Eg. the church has always helped with adoption services. Now they're told they have to stop unless they allow gays to adopt (which is against beliefs they're entitled to hold). Gays could still adopt using other adoption services, so this doesn't help anybody. But the reduction in services does reduces the chances (or at least slows down the process) of children in care finding a good family home rather than being left to rot in state care. In the name of equality, children will suffer.
