What I find incredible is considering how short the riff is that could lose 60% of the royalties.

Well I assume that's all future royalties, rather than backdated (which would make sense - how many copies has it sold already compared to likely sales in the future)?

I can accept the future royalties argument but if it covers past royalties then that is crazy.
