Currently the TUC are making a group of people unemployed. The jobs are not disappearing but other people (who get on with the "bosses" are being put into those roles.
I am eagerly awaiting what private eye makes of this.

TBH this takes place in private companies all the time. We just accept it.

Yes but that is part of their remit. Though I do agree with you. If someone is inept they should either be retrained, sacked or demoted, with a pay cut. That applies to politicians and civil servants as well.

It may happen in private companies but you would expect the home of the trade unions to be whiter than white in this respect.

Not really. Though when it comes to some aspects I would expect higher standards.
