In which case I am a camper. I was playing Empire at war and in every battle was camping waiting for the enemy to appear in dribs and drabs. A camper and proud of it.

For me a camper is someone who sits next to an enemy spawn point and waits for enemies to spawn and kills them instantly.

For me, a camper who just sits and waits and kill those that go by, usually in the bushes or some dark place where they are not immediately obvious. In one game, a camper occupied a room but kept changing position (moving corner to corner) to catch everyone out. Very frustrating so was very happy when I shot him through a wall using penetration pro or whatever the black ops equivalent is.

General camping is fine, and it makes it all the more satisfying when you nail the swine.
