He jumped from 96.000ft, just below the previous record of 102,000ft from Kittinger in 1962, so I assume that they have already tested most things. The only major unknown will be what happens when he hits the sound barrier.

Indeed. There's a particularly gruesome possibility he'll get a sonic boom inside his body because his head will break the sound barrier slightly before his feet will. That could be... messy.

The difference will be minimal. Not as messy as diving into a black hole. Spaghettification is a bitch.
