When UK courts arrive at a decision (let's say prisoners not getting the vote) and ECHR overrules that decision, who rightly wins this contest of deciding rights?

i believe that someone who is serving a prison sentence have certain freedoms curtailed while serving that sentence
that is part of the 'punishment' of prison

voting and the right to access the HRA while serving a prison sentence is suspended while serving that sentence
that does not mean that 'their' human rights under the HRA are in any way abused (the HRA does and will not allow this and rightly so)

but they are unable to exercise these rights, as a free individual, while serving a prison sentence

i also believe that the British Supreme Court has the final judgement on matters pertaining to the HRA while taking into account any reference to the judgement of the ECHR as all countries within the EU still have jurisdiction over related laws. including the HRA, which pertain to them

when we leave the EU then only the BSC has jurisdiction on matters relating to the HRA enshrined within British law ...
