Probably taking time served into account?

I find the BBC news' obsession with this story quite odd. They literally drop everything the moment anything happens to do with it and have broadcast hours and hours of sahara-dry coverage of the various court cases. At one point they were broadcasting the judge reading a list of legal clauses that applied to the case. One after another. for FIFTEEN minutes. I assumed at the time it was an actual attempt to kill their viewers.
