Most of the time that I see Discoveries there's only one person in it. It's not necessary to have these bloody things just to give the driver a feeling of self-importance. It is always quite funny to see all the centre parking spaces taken up by 4x4s because the owner cannot park it properly anywhere else.

My niece had a Discovery and she said she only had it because she felt safer in it. Once I had pointed out that she would be a lot safer if she learned to drive properly and respect other road users, she changed it to a small car. It costs her less than half the tank did.
