I completely agree with both reducing packaging and making it suitable for recycling. Recycling IMO should be something that's easy to do and effortless. That way, more people would do it.

Example: If I buy a frozen pizza from a supermarket, only the box can be recycled - the 'base' (if there is one) is usually non-recyclable, as is the plastic wrapping. IMO I should be able to chuck the entire thing into the recycling bin (except the pizza of course, which needs to be deposited in the toilet, stopping off in the oven, the plate and then my stomach first.

Ditto with say cereal boxes - that plastic non-recyclable wrapping should be eliminated!

I assume that means that if my neighbour upsets me I can put metal in their paper box :twisted:

Or are the government going to put CCTV cameras covering every wheelie bin in the land?

This is far too open to abuse for there to be such drastic fines etc.
