I quite agree.

Ever read the bible? It's full of blood sacrifice, "eye for an eye" and other such barbaric stuff. I find it ironic that while Jews, Muslims and Christians all "believe" so many of the same barbaric stories, they mostly choose to argue about freaky stuff like the length of their beards, whether to chop of their foreskins or if wine turns into blood. Seriously; you couldn't make it up.

I wasn't exactly surprised by her smugness.

I guess I was more taken aback by how it totally overpowered any sense she might have. For example, "You would say that" is not a valid argument. All she ever said was "I'm right but I'm too dense to explain why" or "I'm pretty so you're wrong".
