Well GB only has himself to blame for those remarks.

It shows the public what he is really like behind the facade.

I bet Clegg and Cameron have had similar moments in their private vehicles.

Anyway, we now have a new facepalm image.

+1

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Back on topic, It seems like the only people who are bothered by this are Labour, who were embarrased, and the news organisations, who think it will make a difference when they massively overplay it. The other politicians are rightly getting on with proper politics.

BBC, on Nick Clegg wrote:
the prime minister had "gone out of his way to apologise and that's that".

Prescott is claiming that this is part of a Murdoch plot.

Yet again the dying Murdoch empire is doing all it can to influence a British election. First, his News of the World editor Andy Coulson joins Cameron to use the same dirty tricks he employed on that newspaper for the Conservatives.

The empire's hardly dying, though Rupert's having a fair go at inadvertently killing it, and the real story here (see the link) is Prescott trying to protect his useless boss

It does seem like a storm in a teacup. Though she did raise an important issue over immigration. Though if a government wants improvements in unemployment they need to make sure that British people can get them and not be excluded by immigrants. The fact that customs do not count the numbers in and out makes all the figures and claims irrelevant.

According the the BBC News ticker, Brown has, once again, left his radio mike on. This time it seems that he was told to switch it off. There isn’t a story linked to it other than the constantly updating rolling blog.

If he’s that much of a liability with such kit, why isn’t there a master kill switch like Blair had? If this is a Labour Party organisational thing, then what are they trying to organise themselves into? Doing it once is a mistake, twice seems less so. I be the media are now pouring over previous Brown recordings to see if they can pick up anything else unsavoury to broadcast.

Just goes to show that the stories about his temper in No.10 are probably true - while the cameras are on him, he's all smiles and sincerity. Once they're off, the real GB rears it's ugly head.

I didn't like him before and I like him even less now.

The whole saga has not really affected me. I realise that they are incredibly pressurised and make far more slip ups right now. I was not a GB fan ever since he said "end of boom and bust". I knew that was never going to be true. Though compared to Cameron I prefer Gordon. While he may not be always pleasant he is at least real. Cameron is too slick, like a manufactured pop act. All presentation and no substance.

Compared to Cameron, I'd prefer the Angel of death.
