Rockstar edit the support post

I suspect even they couldn't get away with claiming a PS3 firmware update was causing XBox 360's to crash.

Rockstar and Sony issue fresh LA Noire statement

I'd hazard a guess that MS have had an exploratory chat as well :)

Based on information currently available to Sony, our currently known costs associated with the unauthorized network access are estimated to be approximately 14 billion yen in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012

14 billion yen ~= £100 million.

Sony didn't think PSN attack was 'likely'

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-05-2 ... ttack.html

OMJF. And people think Ballmer should resign... It's been obvious for years that Stringer's fcuking clueless, so you have to wonder just what it'll take to get rid of him

He is caught shagging a pony on live TV?

It is irrelevant as he is leaving soon anyway. I think it is next year.

The Japs certainly weren't taking any crap by the look of it, that part of the service is only back:

I'm trying to, my PSP downloads are downloading fine and then give me an error part way through trying to install.

Perhaps Sunday wasn't the best day to try. :?

Found the answer http://playstation.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2408/session/L3RpbWUvMTMwNzI3ODExMS9zaWQvVkpROFlLdms%3D. Not exactly as described, but got there in the end!

Hm, PS3 is currently downloading. Perhaps I should have done individually, I added to basket and clicked download all.

I'll try it that way if I have no joy.

Edit: The first PS3 game downloaded and then installed fine, 2nd downloading now. It's the PSP that seems to be being a bit funky at the mo.

I had lots of problems with my PSP. I couldn't find the 'welcome back' pack at all to register it at first. Pain in the rear. Managed to find it in the end by going to the playstation shop actually on the PSP. That and the fact the PSP doesn't like WPA wireless security so I had to set up a whole new wireless network just to allow me to access the playstation store through it made getting the games almost more trouble than they were worth.

Aye, the PSP ones aren't anything to shout about really. The Killzone one may be ok.

My Welcome Back disappeared after I went out of the store, I've had to go back in via Account management and find them in the download list to try again. Don't think I'll bother with the 2nd game.

PS3 downloading fine thankfully, Infamous is an ok title IMO (glad I didn't buy it now). Went for Dead Nation as well, it looks like it may be a bit of mindless fun. :D
