I could never do that. I admire people who can do it though, otherwise how would I get my steak?

The UK is the same - I have taken our pigs to the local slaughter house a number of times and have no qualms about how they are treated

I do hope that our livestock is treated well throughout, even at the slaughter.

Though if you get your meat and make your own sausages then you will know that it does not have all the preservatives that can be harmful. I do like a hot dog every now and then, and it is impossible to avoid processed meat if you have hot dogs.
