And it will be that the fanatics of Islam will rise up against the countries of Europe and all will shake and quiver. Everything in the West will be destroyed; England will be conquered and thrown down to the lowest level of misery. And the fanatics and warriors of Islam will retain their power for a long time. However, not only Europe will be affected but ultimately all the countries and peoples of the Earth, as the great horror expands to a war that will encompass the entire world.

Donald Trump says Hillary Clinton is 'constantly playing the woman card' | US news | The Guardian
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016 ... iddle-east

Again, once you're beyond criticism, vague, kinda true, statements are all you need. Hillary overplayed the sexist card a while back (the guy's a sexist idiot, but you're even worse for trying to use women against him), and now Trump has totally turned it back on her. He'd have to be filmed slapping a woman about now for a misogyny accusation to stick... On the Middle East, well, endless dicking about did create ISIS and other problems, so...

No, it really isn't like that at all. It's a fairly crude distraction tactic that's barely better than standing up, pointing into the distance and shouting 'look, a squirrel!'. If he stands up and says something dickish about a woman, the same people who have called him a dick before will call him a dick again. Anyone with half a brain won't be fooled by it, but anyone with half a brain won't be voting for Trump anyway.

Hillary's attempt at branding him sexist was half-assed when all he really deployed was his usual vague insult that any other politician would have essentially ignored. She couldn't sustain her argument because it was a cheap shot from him to start with, jumping in with both feet while he clambered out. Perception is everything in America (not that we're much better), and you can't shame Trump with the usual tactics. Trying to label the guy is a waste of time, attack him on his lack of policy, his inexperience, bankruptcy, anything concrete that he can't just laugh off when the attack is so consistent even the American media have to relay it to him.

It's the sort of petulant childish behaviour I'd expect.
He's already throwing his dummy out of the pram because he lost his legal bid to stop the construction of an off-shore wind farm opposite one of his golf courses.

I'm not sure how petulant that is - put it this way if someone said to you - you can invest in my pub but you will be barred from using it I would tell them were to get off

Plenty of people invest in things they never see or touch. In fact I'd venture that's true of the large majority of investments, certainly true of the entire commodities market. The only valid question is surely 'will I end up with more money than I put in'?

Trump is acting like a tosser. But that's not exactly front page news.

Just watching an old Andrew Marr show, Emily Maitlis said she'd pulled Trump's hair and it's all his lol.

Is that better or worse than it being a toupee?
I guess you have to consider, despite being rubbish at business he's still got a load of money so would be able to procure a better hair piece that what's on display.

In any case, its hypnotic power seems to be very effective on a certain proportion of the US electorate
