I would love a bigger fridge and freezer, but I'd have to get the kitchen modified to fit them in. I'm fine today, but when the shopping comes it's a real struggle to fit it all in. It's one of many reasons not to buy ready-made foods; they take up such a huge amount of space!

Luckily my kitchen is cold enough to just leave stuff out this time of year, provided it's covered and going to be eaten the next day.

I think when I lived in a 1-bed flat, the fridge had a freezer compartment. I tried to store ice-cream and fishfingers but it didn't work. I ended up buying a separate freezer unit for £100 (and a microwave) and had to keep the freezer in a corner of the living room.

I have a combined fridge freezer and am constantly refreshing the freezer contents. At first it was all veggies and now has meat and other treats. So nothing gets to more than 3 months in there.

One of these days I'm going to stop talking about buying a chest freezer and buy a chest freezer.

We've ended up doing that, there's a fridge in the kitchen and then a chest freezer and a combined fridge/freezer in the shed. All of which are full!

Thankfully I wouldn't have enough room in the house for that. The chest freezer would need to go in the back porch as it is.
