It's hearsay testimony about a minor criminal act that millions of people do. Unless she is accused of supply or doing something very naughty to fund a habit, there's nothing much to see and the police probably do have better things to do with their time. Our criminal justice system is one of the better ones, hopefully it won't be used to hound a boring celebrity just because some prudes on the internet thought it appropriate.
