Of course they are people only work in terms of shock figures. Seen a dailly mail headline concerning the bank bailout just had so many fallacies and half truths it was ridiculous.

I agree. When I moved down south a couple of years ago me and SHMBO also looked at her moving north. Although down south the salary was higher (for us both) the extra cost of housing down south easily overshadowed that sal difference.
In the end it was the facts that not only are both of our families down south but all of her friends were as well.
