PT Barnum said something similar.

I just saw Obama make a very dignified and thoughtful speech at the Hiroshima memorial service. I can't for any period of time measurable to science imagine Trump being able to do the same.

I'm sure it would be measured in geological time.

Depends on who you look at. Clinton in particular has done an incredibly poor job of it, which is seriously concerning. Elizabeth Warren is tearing him a new one on a pretty regular basis and given the speed with which he responds with ad-hominem (rather than wearing as a badge of honour as he does with the stuff Clinton has come out with), she's clearly got his number.

I hope that gets the attention it deserves across the pond.

'Is that a wig?', asked Trump.

Hillary Clinton: Trump is too dangerous and unstable to have the nuclear codes | US news | The Guardian
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016 ... y-security

Yeah, this is supposedly a new realisation for her. There's just something so hateful about her that I can't quite put my finger on, but it's partly that she can't even do 'false'.

I am deeply concerned about Clinton running against Trump. Regardless of their relative suitability to actually run a country, she has so much history that she can be attacked on, and so far she's not been effective at attacking Trump on his many, many failings.

Trump insinuates Obama is harboring secret agenda linked to Orlando attack | US news | The Guardian
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016 ... ng-orlando

There's absolutely no downside for Trump there.

I think he knows just what buttons to press, when to press them, and how hard. He’s not an idiot. He’s doing what he needs to do to get the disaffected white non-voters on his side.

Soo..

Trump has sacked his campaign manager
Trump is now asking for money, despite saying he was funding his own campaign and saying he's worth billions (note : he threatens to sue anyone who says he's not worth billions but strangely never gets to court).
Not one single former Republican president is willing to take the stage with Trump at the Republican convention.
Trump's ratings have plummeted since people realised they quite liked the idea of Trump running for office (hey, it's entertaining) but have no desire whatsoever to see him actually in office (i.e. since he effectively became the defacto Republican candidate).

I guess we've now reached the part of the clown act where all the bits of the car fall off.

Man tried to take officer’s gun to kill Trump at Las Vegas rally, police say | US news | The Guardian
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... egas-rally

You'd think that would have been much bigger news, wouldn't you?

If he'd succeeded of course America would have just taken it as a sign they needed more guns.
