God, I could do with it. I must have tried to get maybe 5 pads of various makes working with my PC/Mac and none of them, even the ones that are specifically PC ones, actually work properly...

A wired 360 pad works natively with some Aspyr Media games (I use it with Rage) and I have had some success using a 3rd party driver for some others.

360 pad is supposed to be about the best for windows. I refuse to buy ANOTHER bloody gamepad though.

PS4 pre-orders held for ransom by online retailer

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/43 ... -retailer/

I'd make sure Trading Standards knew about that if it was me ordering from them.

It is a bit shoddy. I suspect that they are trying to boost sales from the limited number of PS4 that they have been allocated.

some bundles contain unofficial dual-charging cables

Which means the bundles aren't being/given by Sony.

Got an email from Amazon today. Standard Sony bundles plus a couple of others with EA games in them. PS4+Game roughly a tenner cheaper than buying separately. You've got a week to tell them which you want to swap to or if you want to keep the standard pack of just a PS4. It kind of made it sound like if you didn't make a choice they'd cancel your order, which is a bit off. Hope that doesn't turn out to be the case or they'll be in more trouble than SimplyGames.
