I'd go with Watch Dogs from the bundles I've seen, if I was in the market...

PS4 will not support current bluetooth headsets for chat

Other headsets will require a post-launch patch for compatibility

Sony and patches? God save us...

Do you think that Sony are trying to lever a Made for PS4 accessory income, by making you buy everything again?

Ah balls. I spent £60-70 on that BT headset for the PS3. I wonder why it suddenly won't work and I agree with Amnesia - it sounds like a money-making scheme. Maybe next time I'll buy third party instead. IF I buy a PS4. Which I might not.

I think I will wait till all these sorts of issues are resolved before I consider a new console.

The one wrinkle with that is that they're giving away a wired headset with every pad. That's going to kill a lot of the demand for bluetooth headsets unless the BT ones are very cheap, in which case they'll make no money off them. For most people the wired ones will be 'good enough'. You're left with a minority that won't like them and an even smaller minority who'll buy the 'full can' surround sound jobs.

I think it's very weird. Implementing the standard BT & USB headset HIDs must surely be little effort for the PS4 OS coders and as I say I can't really see the logic of it in a 'milk the customer' kind of way. It seems to me they've just made a policy decision not to support PS3 accessories and stuck to it despite technical or customer satisfaction issues. For example, they won't be supporting the PS3 remote either, a decision which I can see no good reason for at all.

If there is a technical reason then that might make sense. Are they planning a new generation of accessories that needs a very different format of BT or Wifi then it could easily be explained. Though why didn't they explain.

Xbox One won't support real names yet, but all games now get dedicated servers

http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/co ... rs-1190171

Anyone who puts their real name out on CoD is probably asking for trouble...

Dedicated servers should have happened years ago if the interested parties were serious about multiplayer, only now they'll probably spend even less time on the main game

Shame as it would make an even more compelling case to get an Xbox.

I mean God forbid you'd want to have a private conversation, we can't have everyone being able to shout 'national security!', can we?
