Come now labour aren't the same party they were in 1979, which is a good thing in some ways, bad in many others. Same with the tories they weren't the same party in the thatcher years as thety were in the one nation tory years, they were widely a pro europe bunch back then.
I would love to believe that cameron will not be the same as thatcher but I don't see it. However nowadays there are no mines to close down and little industry to cripple so meh.

Cameron just comes across as 100% pure smarm. I find it very difficult to not hate him. His only policy is "we wouldn't do what labour just did", without actually putting anything on the table himself. Usually with the tories, Wales and Scotland as well as the North of England get thoroughly shafted at the expense of the South East. Better save up for my plane ticket.
