That would be brilliant. My only issues with home delivery are a) they can never find our house and 2) their idea of substituting items is very different to mine. I think I'd give it a try, definitely with the normal big shops that we do once a month or so, that would be very convenient. |

Ocado/Waitrose. I've used all the supermarket delivery services on and off, and Ocado are the only ones who have never substituted anything - they've always had everything I ordered. Can be a bit more expensive for delivery though - they tailor the delivery charge to how popular the slot is, so if you want it delivered at 6PM on a Friday it'll cost you 8 quid, but if you don't mind it turning up at 10.30 on a Saturday night it'll only cost a couple of quid.. I don't mind the funny hour deliveries. For me the benefits are the cost. It beats the cost of petrol and possibly parking as well. This service will really appeal to those that are too busy to be at home at set times. Or do not like the idea of the door bell ring at night. With the normal home delivery it fills a gap. |
