Post subject:  Jimmy Carter secures release of prisoner held in N Korea

Something not reported on BBC or other UK news channels.

He might not have been a good president but him and Clinton seem to do a lot of good work now they have left office - quite a bit of which is not widely reported.

His presidency was not that bad, It was marred by the Iran hostage situation. There are rumours that the Republicans asked that the Iranians delay the release until after the election. He was aware of the potential of a future energy crisis and installed solar panels on the white house. Reagan removed them.

Thit tit is going to walk off the plane in America pretending to be some sort of hero. In fact all he's done is cause a diplomatic incident, cost the USA hundred's of thousands of dollars and risk his freedom for no reason.
He's lucky they didn't leave him there for years of hard labour.

I misread the title as 'Jimmy Carr secures release of prisoner held in N Korea'.

It would have shed a whole different light on the story.
