The former fashion retailer was supposed to receive £27,500 a month in maintenance payments from her estranged husband, Scot, but he has been declared bankrupt since the court order was made last December.
The 45-year-old could be forced to abandon her court battle because she has run out of money. At their last court appearance, Mrs Young said she was down to her last £13,000 of savings and owes £660,000 in unpaid legal fees.
For the last three years, the couple has been embroiled in a bitter fight over his alleged multi-million pound fortune which she says he is hiding and he claims no longer exists.
She is now planning to move into a rent flat near her current rented home in St John's Wood, north London, and has applied to Westminster Council for housing benefit, according to a report in the Sunday Times.
