What a stupid reason not to give chase! They just let them off the hook for silly reasons! I'm glad sods law caught up with the thieving [LIFTED]!

I disagree. It's quite traumatic having someone's brains splattered all over you, and the police giving chase would to my mind have been an act of reckless endangerment.

Just because you don't chase someone doesn't mean they'll get away.

Justice? :?

I don't think someone deserves to die because they stole a bike, tbh.

I agree completely.

He had been arrested and bailed anyway, despite the fact that they didn't chase him at high speed.

There may have been a police helicopter in the air as well. So that could have been tracking him. Also if the CCTV in the show room was good they could have identified him from that. No need to chase in that case.

Corrected...

What goes around, comes around. Might sound harsh, but I've got no sympathy.

Yeah, I'd be keeping that one a bit quieter

Screw the risks. It's their fault for:
A) Not wearing a helmet
B) Trying to resist arrest.

Sometimes there are good reasons for resisting arrest, such as when a constable is trying to arrest you unlawfully.

While they may not pursuit such cases they will still be able to track them down via helicopter and then stop them with stingers etc.

They should do. They would deflate both tyres evenly.
