300 quid? 'Kinell.
The playstation move bundle is £280. I thought the 360 was supposed to be the cheaper option?

Not a bad price really if you want Kinect and dont have a/want to upgrade your Xbox. Kinect alone is £129 the last time I looked.
I cant see me getting Kinect or Move to be honest. I'm tired of waggling remotes at the TV (Wii) and dont currently see Kinect offering me anything to add to my gaming.
I do think the way forward for Kinect (if they want to appeal to hardcore gamers) is to use it in conjunction with the joypad. So you could still control the game normally but with added voice commands and touch interface elements for example. At the minute it looks like a childs play thing.

Kinnect and Move are like Ant and Dec to me - I often can't remember which is which, and I'm not even sure it matters

That's $, not £. The official Move bundle in the UK is £285, I think. Which is still a rip off compared to the US price but less than 360+kinect official bundle. Course you can actually get both cheaper if you're willing to forgo the included games. Play are offering a PS3+move starter kit (which only has the demo disk not the full Sports Champions game) for £250 and also a 360 Elite + Kinect (with no game included) for the same price. Given both will probably have a lot of stuff on their respective digital shops that support the new tech if you don't want the game in the bundle you might as well go with that. And they're easy to tell apart PCernie. Kinect is the one that makes you look like a knob, whereas Move is the one that makes you look like you're holding a knob. Jon

Have you got a link for that? I'd be suprised if the $400 equates to £280-something in the UK. They normally like to rip us off and go 1:1 with $:£. A 250GB/320GB console RRP is £289 alone I think. Unless this £285 bundle has a small HDD like the Xbox S 4GB Kinect bundle?

The official EU playstation blog says Ah, interesting, it doesn't include the full Sports Champions game. I hadn't noticed the difference until now. The starter disk is a bunch of demos. There is a cheaper PS3 with a 120GB HDD but I haven't heard anything about that with a Move included. You can't actually have a PS3 without a HDD, they've always had them so lots of games have been coded assuming the HDD is there to be used for cacheing purposes. Jon

Well you can get a xbox 360 250 Gb for £199 now so you are effectively getting a £20 discount for buying it in a bundle. I will probably wait till it is cheaper on its own before buying.
