If you're a serious gamer you'll probably have at least one high-end console and gaming PC. If you're a serious gamer with Snoop Dog's bank balance, you'll want 'The Big O', or you're nobody.

It's an enormous gaming rig with all the innards of a super-powered PC AND an Xbox 360 slim stuffed into a single case. The results are a room-filling tower of joy and happiness. And a giant crater in your wallet.

The base model costs $7.669. Yeah, that's the cheaper one. Although there's nothing cheap about its overclocked, liquid cooled Core i7 CPU, 6GBs of RAM, liquid cooled SLI Nvidia GTX 480, two solid-state 50GB HDDs in RAID O formation and separate 2TB HDD., Blu-ray burner and huge list of other gizmos. Like, that's already fast enough to out-process NASA, cure cancer and simulate the birth of the universe AND the universe's mum and dad's birth as well.

But if you're really feeling frivolous, there's a $16.999 model, too. That packs Dual Intel Xeon X5680 CPUs Overclocked to 4.3GHz, 12GB Corsair GT 2000Mhz RAM, Quad SLI EVGA GTX 480 FTW GPUs (that's FOUR of them), and Jessica Alba as your personal sex slave.

Get one through the source link or, if you're a normal person, look out for one of these beasts in Soulja Boy's next YouTube video, YOOO.

Pfft. Not if I've to pay for multiplayer too; that's the real deal-breaker here

It will be great for multiplayer. You will be so much faster than the others, though it might not be enough for us oldies to stop them from being thrashed by some 13 year old on coke.

Hmm, my girlfriend would object to the Jessica Alba bit... And the machine itself is fugly!

12GB, a little underspecified, considering the rest of the spec. Give it 32 or 64GB...

Yes it is ugly.

I thought that it was over priced for what it contained.

My uncle had one of those, only I was that poor I didn't even have any MD games to test on it when he got my dad to fix it

Surely anyone can put an bunch of PC and XBOX components and stick them in the same box?

What would have been impressive is to have seen the XBOX OS run off of PC hardware, and some impressive PC hardware at that...

I loved the Idea of the MegaPC. Ironically I sold my Mega Drive & Mega CD to help fund a 486DX266 I was begging my dad for.

How about the 3DO blaster though?

The XBox doesn't use standard PC components, has its own ASICS and the control software doesn't support traditional driver models. It would probably cost a couple of hundred thousand to develop the drivers and test them thoroughly, before you could do that, it just isn't worth it... All the software is designed to work on the XBox hardware, so you wouldn't see any performance advantage (possibly lower performance, if you had to emulate all the ASICS in software).

Exactly, so they've just taken two boxes and put them in one...
