I think as far as XBL goes MS have adpoted the Apple approach. They're restricting it and controlling it. Whether this is to control/improve/maximise the user experience or simply to make more $$$$ I dont know. The fact is though XBL works and works well and I can undertsand why they dont want Steam on there in the same way you cant just stick any old rubbish (Flash :lol: ) on the App Store/iPad/iPhone.

If they push to be allowed to release free content they could change things for everyone for the better

But Gabe just bitches for no good reason, he probably hasn't had enough pies for the day and is low on fat so a bit cranky
