Again. This time, the Tea Party which appears to be some form of loony magnet is the culprit.

Yes but the Tea paerty movement are funded and support by Rupert Murdoch, only hope he can do the same to the Tory party here and make them unelectable.

But more so. The USA seems to be running a very amplified form of right wing politics - fuelled in part by fundamental Christianity. They seem to be losing their separation of state and religion.

I wonder if, in 100 years time, we won’t be entering a second Middle Ages.

I think that in the US it will be sooner than that. Plus they rail against intellects so I suspect films like Idiocracy will be seen as prophetic in years to come.
