I don't normally post BBC news links (mainly because I don't normally visit BBC news sites) but this one just caught my attention.
The royal family really does know how to take the biscuit, doesn't it?

I can understand why it was refused but the government should make some extra funds available to insulate the palaces especially as they are listed buildings, and that they do State events in them.
