it would seem that the 'wealth' aspect exceeds the 'common' aspect ...

The full extent of the poor conditions at the Commonwealth Games athletes' village in India have been exposed in photographs seen by BBC Sport.

In the last week, two Taiwanese tourists were injured after gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on a bus in Delhi, a pedestrian footbridge to the centrepiece Jawaharlal Nehru stadium has collapsed, injuring 27 people, and part of a false ceiling at a weightlifting sports venue fell down.

Several big-name athletes have already pulled out of the Games, with England's world triple jump champion Phillips Idowu and Australia's discus world champion Dani Samuels withdrawing earlier this week over health and security concerns.

sport is big business and, as always, big business requires big 'profit', regards of cost or conditions, and now it seems to include anybody or anything

i wonder what disaster awaits the Olympics over here as our big businesses are no better

mercenary management at its very best ...

Well they are already planning on turning public roads in to private thoroughfares for the olympic participants and organisers and making it impossible for local businesses to operate during the event.
