I wonder why anyone would risk letting their kids near priests these days with what we know now, I really do...

My other half watched the film The Magdalene Sisters just a couple of days ago and was spitting venom at the Church afterwards. From what I gathered, it's like Scum but with nuns. :)

In order to stop it happening again you need to punish those involved. Adding the to the sex offenders register and even custody for the more serious cases, and that includes inspectors who turned a blind eye. If inspectors can get away with it then this is more likely to happen again. Yes they are there to protect children but if they are too lazy to do so then they are not doing their job.
