No Terror related arrests in over 100,000 stops

I'm pretty sure I've made my feelings known relating to Section 44 of the anti-terror laws, so I'll not go on about it again (besides which it just gets me worked up).

Yes it does look like they were used to replace SUS. I was never happy with New Labour taking this extreme action especially when no one since 2007 has been held for anywhere near 14 days for terrorism charges. The long detention for interrogations has also been unnecessary. I wonder how quickly the Coalition abandon their reforming zeal when it comes to these laws?
