Sony will launch the MUBI film service for European PS3 owners this week.

Announced at the Cannes Film Festival in May, MUBI's said to deliver "the very best in independent, international and classic movies" to PS3 owners. Over 300 films are expected to be available at launch.

The service will debut in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg on Wednesday, November 3.

MUBI will rollout in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal next week.
