http://www.apple.com/mobileme/whats-new/Will these new features persuade you to get MobileMe or to go back to it? I'm considering it.

That's a very cool feature!
They should have it in every phone!

They are somewhat under playing this feature. It's a new feature on me, and I don't know of any other mobile that has it.
I can definitely see this in adverts to come.

Remote wipe has been available on Windows mobile for ages but the phone home bit is new to me (without using 3rd party software anyway)

See, I was also concidering it. Until I saw the price.
Thus the decision.
To eat, or to mobileme, that is the question.

I see that you can now access and view files on your iDisk on iPhone too. That is seriously cool, and IIRC it was Marklar who laughed me out of the room when I said they should introduce it.
That means they're just one step away from allowing you to sync folders on your Mac to your phone so you can look at them on the go. I know that for me it would be great to look at lecture slides on the way to lecture for example.
Combine this with proper bluetooth file-sharing and they really would be onto a winner.

I'm with Mark - one more reason to keep the MobileMe/.Mac subscription going. Now all I need is an iPhone.

Didn't Microsoft or RIM launch that, to uproar, a few months back? At least the remote erasing and disabling functionality.

But this is an apple feature. Therefore it's the greatest thing since the iphone (which overtook sliced bread)

I was going to say that, but I'm glad someone else did.
