Heh, looking forward to hearing the general Yank view on our PMs :)

The US government has written Mr Assange, urging him not release the documents.

Earlier, the BBC was told the leak would cause embarrassment to Prime Minister David Cameron and his predecessor Gordon Brown.

Well I do not have a high opinion of either of them as well. Brown was desperate for the job, at least he meant well, even if he screwed up. Cameron looks like he is going to do a Blair and see how he can benefit from the post.

WikiLeaks: US Senators call for WikiLeaks to face criminal charges

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... arges.html

Quote:
Members of the United States Congress reacted with fury at WikiLeaks on Sunday, calling on the group to be designated a "Foreign Terrorist Organisation" and urging the United States government to pursue a prosecution.

Well just sounds like spite.

Nothing surprising so far. It is refreshing to have stuff out there that has bypassed the spin BS filter though.

And it never is in our interest. They are usually trying to cover up their mistakes.
