I do agree that it is good, but considering that you end up with a criminal record for a lot less if it involves benefits, there should be a lot more MP's behind bars for fiddling their expenses not just the most egregious examples.

£20k is a lot of money to (effectively) steal. I'd expect longer in the nick for that.

Also add in the fact that the rules banned payments to family members. MPs should be held to a higher level than us common plebs.
