To be fair it's mostly "social engineering" that gets Windows machines infected too, that and blind ignorance. Of all the Windows machines I've ever had the privilege(?) of administrating, not once did they come down with so much as a cold.

I didn't think Macs "did" ActiveX? Or does IE for Mac support it now?

Either way, it seems a strange choice of phrase to use as bait. A more generic "video codec" message would have been more obvious.

Active X never got support on the Mac platform. IE on the Mac was a totally different beast to that on Windows. They shared the name and came from Microsoft. There the similarities ended.
