Apple have awarded the 10 billionth downloader (who downloaded the free app Paper Glider) with an iTunes voucher worth $10,000!!!

I would prefer hardware as well. A new MBP would be nice and Apple TV. Then I could watch $10,000 worth of iTunes content on the box.

It's itunes vouchers not Apple vouchers. No hardware, just content. That's about a thousand albums, or 250 TV series, or about 1200 movies. Or a hell of a lot of fart apps.

The winner has 2 kids, both with iPods that can run apps. The $10,000 won't last long.

Yes that bit was funny. I was downloading apps in the hope winning but never thought that it would happen. I might have done the same thing.

Wonder if a bunch of people were sat with the mouse pointer over the 'buy' button on an app, waiting for the ticker to click over in the hope of getting it :lol: .

I learnt from previous examples that the counter was way out so basically downloaded loads of apps well before countdown.
