Palestinian negotiators secretly told Israel it could keep swathes of occupied East Jerusalem, according to one of the most significant ever leaks relating to the Middle East.

It shows howe intransigent the israelis were. They had a good deal there and they rejected it. I doubt that any palestinian negotiating team will be able to do that again.

I think it's more telling how stupid the Palestinians were :)

I think that the israelis were even more stupid. They gave up control of east jerusalem for a few illegal settlements. :shock: :oops:

They were both stupid. But it wouldnt of mattered there are too many people on both sides that do not want any agreement as they both see it as climbing down and losing face against a bitter enemy.

Yes very true. I wonder what might be in the wikileaks version of israeli communiques.
