Well they needed to do something. Letting them go (which is what happens most of the time at the moment) is utterly pointless.

Yes use the old system of lynching them and throwing the bodies into the sea. If no pirates ever survive, it would seriously curtail the numbers taking it up as a way of making money. :twisted:

The ship was hijacked earlier. It's not necessarily the same crew that did it, and there's no guarantee that some of the crew aren't press-ganged.

This is why there has to be a fair trial, rather than just making them all walk the plank.

Don't they also have to have a skull and cross bones flag? Otherwise they could just be a drunken Somali stag party gone wrong?
