Put this way: All of the sexual health consultants wanted gardasil to be used. The Govt didn't listen and chose Cervarix instead. It was a political/financial decison, not one based on best evidence.

TBH I still don't understand why a) women who are not of school age don't get vaccinated, and b) why men don't get vaccinated against HPV.

Maybe anyone who gets the disease now sue for medical negligence. 70 000 cases of negligence will wipe out any savings that they might have made.

It might cost more but this government are not interested in improving quality of life for everyone, just to cut the deficit for future tax cuts.
